Your Ardennes guided tour will first take us into the lovely province of Namur, an enchanting location on the River La Meuse. Here we will see the impressive citadel of Champeau Hill, and learn some of the fascinating history of a town that has had to fight off would-be invaders since withstanding the siege of the Roman emperor Julius Caesar.

As we continue your private tour in the Ardennes we will meander along serpentine roadways next to the sparkling river, and take in amazing scenery of brilliant limestone cliffs and sloping wooded hills. As we travel and approach the fortress town of Dinant, and we will take in the awesome sight of its church dome with its onion shape.

From Dinant your private Ardennes tour will continue south toward Bouillon and the charming Semois Valley. This is a great spot to take a canoe ride on the river, and to spend some time visiting the medieval Castle Bouillon. We'll also go to the Orval Abbey and taste real Monk's Beer which has been brewed here since 1070. Next we can see some of the spectacular views of the Parc Nationale de Lesse et Lomme at Hans-sur-Lesse, such as the bold limestone gorges and caves. There is also a wild animal preserve here.

Your guided Ardennes tour will take us to the famous summer resort at La Roche en Ardennes next to the beautiful Ourthe River. Then we'll follow the Upper Ourthe to medieval Dourbuy, completing our Belgian Ardennes excursion in this picturesque village of artisans.
