Excursion in Luxembourg

I'm very interested in this tour since my father fought in this battle. I'm going to be in europe from the 13th of August till the 28th and am considering trying to visit Bastogne. What I need to know is the time required for the tour and the cost. I would probably try and fit it in between the part of our trip that includes Paris and Munich. It was suggested that I take the train from Paris to Luxembourg and rent a car there to get to Bastogne. Then take the train from Luxembourg to Munich. Would this be your suggestion or could you recommend something better? Thank you for any information or suggestions you might have. Paul Gundlach

Hi Mike, Please could you forward me an itinerary for our trip on the 20th Aug for 7 people. We will arrive at airport 11:00 and leave at 19:00 I'm not to sure how far the airport is from central Luxembourg or the start of your tour? Lunch will be no longer than an hour and preferably at a restaurant serving excellent traditional Luxembourgish food. Could you also include a quote in your itinerary? Thanks, Taryn

Hi, My dream since I was a little girl in the USA was to see the Tour de France. I recently moved to Luxembourg and was hoping to see the last week by following the Tour through all of the towns via a train. Hotels will be tres difficile because of all of the riders, sponsors, etc. I was hoping to stay in bed and breakfasts with a family to have a more authentic experience of French life. Would you be interested in helping me, or do you know of anyone who might be able to help?
